Secretary of State for Health
We have heard about the work you do helping children live healthier lives and I want to thank you for your commmitment. I believe that your experience and energy will be crucial to the success of Change4Life.
As a result of this recognition, Clubs4Children are working in partnership with NHS Change4Life to deliver sport, FunFit and dance sessions both afterschool and during the school day.
Find out below what some of our schools have to say about us:
I would just like to say that my class thoroughly enjoyed the confidence coaching sessions with you. They liked the way you used songs and images to get the message across. It was also useful for them to listen to and discuss issues with someone different. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they responded to you at a difficult time of year – post SATS and pre–summer holiday! You were able to hold their attention in a measured, unthreatening way and I’m sure they took in a lot of the points you raised.
Maisie Johnson, Warren Primary, Nottingham
I am writing to thank you for your help and cooperation in enabling these out of lesson activities to take place. The children have shown great enthusiasm and commitment in joining the clubs, which is no doubt down to your excellent tutors, who have made the programmes exciting, enjoyable, interesting and entertaining. Thank you on behalf of the school for your commitment to giving children invaluable and worthwhile experiences.
Mark Booton, St. Albans RC Primary, Derby
"As a long established provider of out of school activities, Clubs4children has the expertise, staff and pedigree which will enable schools to provide the range of high quality activities for which the Extended Schools initiative calls."
Gaynor Nash, Extended Schools Coordinator,
Leicester LA.
" Clubs4Children met with the school staff and the children and young people involved to make sure that the programme that they ran was tailored to need. I was really impressed with the detail of their policies and protocols which illustrated the level of experience clubs4children have in delivering high quality study support programmes with schools. The programme met up to all of our expectations, the children and parents really enjoyed themselves and benefited from being involved.".
Simone Spray, Strategy Manager for Extended Schools, Oldham L.A.
‘As a small school, Clubs4children have enabled us to provide a much wider range of after school activities than we would have been able to. The activities have been a hit with children and parents. The combination of activity with care afterwards has provided fun and affordable childcare’.
Sue Patterson, All Saints Primary, Leek Wootton, Warwickshire

Our French PPA works very well – the children enjoy it and get a lot out of it. All KS2 children have a minimum of 30 minutes a week of French and we have found this mode of delivery very effective.’Terry Mason, Robert Bakewell Primary, Loughborough
We are pleased to have your French Club running in our Infant School. The Year 2 children enjoy the mix of very active games and French. Some of the French Club members have taken to greeting me in the morning with a cheery "Bonjour" and leaving at 3.15pm with a smile and an "Au revoir"!
